The Thern counterweight assist hoist is a motorized alternative to traditional, manually operated counterweight rigging sets that must be adjusted every time the load changes.
Thern’s motorized counterweight assist hoist securely lifts a stage batten loaded with up to 3,000 lbs of lighting, sound, scenery, or curtains without moving a single counterweight brick (it does require 1,500 lbs of counterweight loaded in the arbor). The unit contains a quick mounting plate that makes installation simple and easy.
